The flu vaccine is offered yearly to certain population groups, this is normally offered from September/October until February the following year.
You are eligible for a FREE flu vaccine if you:
- Are aged 50 or over
- Have a long term health condition such as a heart problem, diabetes etc.
- Have learning difficulties
- Are the main carer of an older or disabled person – this does not have to be a blood relative and can be an elderly neighbour or friend
- Are a frontline health or social care worker
- Are pregnant
- It’s offered to children aged 2 to 3 years, school-aged children (Reception to Year 11) and children with certain long-term health conditions
